Larsen Sawmilling

Larsen Sawmilling, owned by John Larsen, has the only timber treatment plant in Gisborne. Larsen’s also has the largest range of round wood stock in the district, and its own product range from garden furniture to dog kennels, chicken coops, even stock feed, and is the go-to place for many in the rural sector.

John has milled timber for about 35 years now. In the early 1980s, a younger John went to an annual Fieldays event where it was love at first sight with a portable sawmill. He has been involved with timber ever since, loves making sawdust, and makes sure no part of the log is wasted.

John has created a versatile timber business over the years, to move with the market. Larsen’s has a team of six who are all happy to help you with your timber requirements. Check out Larsen’s web page for the full rundown of everything they have available, at www.larsawn.co.nz
