MIND YOUR NOGGIN: The band includes familiar faces such as (left) Mike Eriksen, Esther Hudson, Tarni Mitcalfe, Greg Harman, Sheridan Gundry, Marty Reynolds, Mary Hope and Hugo McGuinness, and but Mitcalfe and Harman bring a bass beat to the band while Harman’s saxophone makes a guest appearance for a couple of numbers. A variety of percussion, such as the Peruvian cajon, adds to the G’zuker sound.

WITH a repertoire that ranges from the 1920s through to artists such as Morecambe and Wise, Frank Sinatra, David Bowie, as well as a healthy mix of Kiwi classics from the likes of OMC, The Swingers and Split Enz, G’zukers Good Time Band will make its public debut at Matawhero Wines this Sunday.

Formerly known as Ukes on Utes the group changed its name to better reflect who its musicians are, said G’zuker Sheridan Gundry.

“There is something for everyone,” she said.
