A hell of a night at Smash Palace

THE TV show was inspired by zombie flick Dawn of the Dead and now Gisborne rock-metal act Harbinger has taken the name of the British television series for a Halloween fest at Smash Palace. Called The Dead Set the evening features Harbinger, Shadows in the Darkness, and Fuzebox.

For the dress-up gig, host Darryl Monteith is expected to appear as David Bowie, and Harbinger’s Vincent Hogan will perform in the guise of Iron Maiden’s Phantom of the Opera. It’ll be a hell of a night, says Hogan. The Deadset, Smash Palace, Saturday, 8pm.
