Gisborne and East Coast talent wanted.

Auditions for Stars In Their Eyes 2018 are open to Gisborne and East Coast talent over the last weekend of April.

Run by James Packman and Walter Walsh, no mean talents themselves, this year’s show is a fundraiser for Gisborne’s St John Ambulance.

The all-ages, first-timer and family-friendly show will be staged at the War Memorial Theatre on September 8. Packman and Walsh are holding auditions this month so they can finalise the line-up and songs and obtain performance rights in good time.

Auditions will be held at Unity Theatre on Ormond Road, Saturday April 28, 1pm-5pm and Sunday April 29, 10am-5pm.

Dancers and backing vocalists are also needed.

  • Take your own backing track on a data stick or choose from the thousands of songs available at the audition.
