Back by popular demand are entertainers The Walsh Brothers with an encore show that mixes the old school sound of Maori showbands peppered with comic banter.

The first show sold out within two weeks, says Walter Walsh of his and Doug Walsh’s cabaret evening in August. The brothers relived songs performed by the likes of The Howard Morrison Quartet, The Maori Volcanics, and The Quin Tikis and mixed it up with a tribute to Billy T James and Prince Tui Teka.

“After we finished our show in August the Whitehouse fielded calls from people wanting to book tickets for the next show,” says Walter.

The brothers will reprise some songs from their first Whitehouse show and have brought in some “new bits”.

The Walsh Brothers perform at The Whitehouse on November 3. Doors open at 5.30pm. Smorgasbord dinner and show, $40. Tickets are limited so book early.
