Jolly Stockman trials good lead up to Show

THE sheep worked well and entries were good at the Jolly Stockman Dog Trials on Saturday. Spokesman Trevor Brown said it was a good practice lead-up to the A&P Spring Show. Thanks are due to Vaughan Hill for the use of his sheep.

Henry Gaddum with Tau was second with 93 and Laurence Rau and Dixie finished third with 93 points. In the morning competition, Fraser Willson and Beau won with 96.5 points. Larry Hoole took second place with Dawn on 94 points and third with Queen on 93 points. Barry McIntyre took out the novice section with his dog Roxy (28points) in the afternoon. Kate Russell with True finished on 73 points to win the novice in the morning.
