The open day planned to celebrate and showcase Mokairau Farm’s win in the Gisborne-Wairoa Federated Farmers “Hill Country Farmers of the Year” competition has been changed.

The Reeves family at Whangara will now open their gates to the public on Tuesday May 22, not May 2 as had initially been arranged. That date clashes with the Angus Bull Walk.

Members of the New Zealand board of Federated Farmers will be at the open day and the Gisborne-Wairoa province will run its annual general meeting as part of the day.
