Noddy in New Zealand final

Gisborne dog triallist Noddy Halley has qualified one of his dogs for the New Zealand final of the Tux Handy Dog and Yarding Challenge.

Noddy and Jade (pictured above) won the North Island title in Kaitaia at the weekend, with a score of 98 points, to qualify for the national final to be held in Seddon in January.

His other dogs, Lad and Deal, qualified for the North Island final but were not placed in the top three.
