This pen of 300 two tooth ewes sold for $202 on behalf of S.T Bush of Ngatapa at the weekly Friday sheep sale at Matawhero.

They were among a yarding that included 52 prime sheep, 1707 store lambs and 2052 ewes, a total yarding in excess of 3800 head, a solid bounce-back after the previous Friday sale had to be cancelled due a lack of stock.

Prices remained steady on the store lambs, but eased on the breeding ewes.

Do you think the speed limit on SH35 at Tamarau, Okitu and Wainui should be reduced to 50kmh, and the end of Okitu to the end of Tatapouri be reduced to 70kmh?
