The Angus Bull Walk began this morning as studs throughout Tairawhiti showcase their lineup of rising-two-year-olds ahead of the sales season.

It started at 9am this morning at Turiroa Stud near Wairoa, moved on to Cricklewood and Kenhardt Studs at Nuhaka, then lunch at Rangatira Stud at Muriwai.

This afternoon the focus shifted to the new Orere stud operated by Kylie and Ben Johnson (pictured) at Rere, then Alpine Angus and Tangihau Angus.

Tomorrow the walk moves up the East Coast and back to Kaharau Stud in Riverside Road and Waimata Angus.
