Angus Bull Week starts on Monday and these tough looking guys from Tangihau Angus epitomise the solid 400-plus lineup of rising two-year-old ‘black cattle’ bulls to be paraded for sale this season.

The fine summer, kind autumn and outstanding feed conditions have combined to create an ideal season.

The three day sales opens on Monday morning at 9am with the Tangihau and Cricklewood sale at Tangihau Station.

The combined sale follows at Matawhero at 12.30pm, followed by Kaharau Stud that afternoon at 4pm. Ratanui, Whangara and Turihaua take their turn on Tuesday, and Rangatira, Kenhardt and Turiroa finish things off on Wednesday.
