Buyers spoilt for choice

TRIED AND TRUE: Rangatira Angus studmaster Charlie Dowding (pictured) felt while there were lots of bulls to sell in Bull Week this year, the choice buyers had worked well. The reorganised sales schedule for the week worked well, too. Pictures by Paul Rickard
TOP GEAR: The week started in top gear when Tangihau Angus at Rere piled on the dollars in a record-setting sale in their new on-farm rostrum .
Kenhardt Angus at Nuhaka debuted in their new on-farm facility, too, where this guy looked like he meant business. He sold for $11,000.

WELL SUPPORTED: All the sales drew good-sized crowds, and at most it was standing room only. None more so than at Turihaua Angus (pictured). As usual, the hospitality shown at all studs across the week was sublime and much appreciated. Picture by Paul Rickard
