Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon, 8am–12.30pm, Nelson Park. A short swim at the Enterprise Aquatic Centre, and bike and run legs around the park and surrounding streets. For ages 6 –13 years, $37 per child.

Rippers, Gisborne Boardriding Club, 4.30–6pm, regular Wednesdays until May 17. (Last week's session was postponed.) For young people aged 5 to 12. Location to vary between town beaches. Check Facebook page for venue.
