BOXES of books cleared from the HB Williams Memorial Library’s shelves to make room for new arrivals go on sale on Friday and Saturday.

Although books not often borrowed from the library are culled for the sale, there are many gems among them, says public library service leader Richard Flyger.

The library is at 53 Awapuni Rd Gisborne, and the sale runs 9.30am-4.30pm on Friday and 9.30am-12.30pm on Saturday.
