Christmas parade this Sunday

HEART of Gisborne’s Lana Davy says preparations are well under way for Sunday's Kids Carnival, where people can buy $5 carnival cards that will get them a meal, drink, treat, play and activity.

The parade starts at 5pm through the city centre, followed by the Kids Carnival at 5.30pm in Peel Street’s Treble Court.

The cards will be the only currency accepted at the event and people are encouraged to purchase them ahead of time from T&T Children’s Wear, Bernina,The Bendon Outlet Store, AMI Insurance, Gisborne i-SITE and Kaiti Bakery.
