Hanging with Wal and Dog

Day two of the HB Williams Memorial Library holiday programme celebrated the iconic Footrot Flats characters, with children able to take selfies with the Wal and Dog sculpture followed by stories, and colouring and collage activities.

The renovated and extended library building is proving popular with youngsters and a big crowd gathered yesterday. There are activities happening every day during the school holidays, including scrabble club and a morning activity where children can make paper poppy posies and hear Anzac stories.
