Young leaders recognised

St Mary’s school Year 6 pupil Kalianne Taylor is a role model for everyone and shows strong leadership qualities, her teachers say.

“She shows integrity in all she does, as well as determination in being the best she can be when representing our school in touch rugby, hockey, netball and football.”

Kalianne works co-operatively in a team situation allowing others to shine in their areas of strength but never craves the limelight for her own talents.

This week a special assembly was held where Kalianne recieved the Sir Peter Blake Leadership Award for the school and students identified by each class teacher as having leadership qualities and potential are pictured with
