All the preparation and practice is over for Makauri School as its production Glorious opens tonight at the War Memorial Theatre.

The school production involves all 180 students at the school and is produced by teacher Darylle Lawler.

School principal Judy Nicoll says the play has a strong message about bullying and encourages students to be upstanders, not bystanders, and stand up to bullying.

Tickets are available at the school or at the theatre for $15 each.

The show starts at 6.30pm tonight and Thursday night, with a matinee on Thursday at 10am.
