Eastwoodhill hosted a school holiday programme with a nature theme last week.

The children explored the arboretum and did lots of walking and playing, said teacher Melody Craw. “We made bird feeders out of pine cones, peanut butter and bird seed to hang in trees.”

The children also gathered natural objects to create mandalas, or circular artworks.
