Emma named a regional hair styling winner

Emma Smith from Gisborne’s House of Hair has been named as the Editorial Stylist of the Year for Poverty Bay.

The regional win was announced at the annual industry awards for 2018 on Sunday night at the Cordis Hotel in Auckland.

An “editorial stylist” award means photographs of hair done for magazines or for the movies.

The industry awards are an annual event hosted by the New Zealand Association of Registered Hairdressers, Kitomba Salon and Spa Software, and the NZ Hair and Beauty Industry Training Organisation.

Ms Smith thanked her model and the team behind her at House of Hair for their help.
