Four winners off to Wings and Wheels today

Gisborne Aviation Preservation Society’s Granville Jones drew the four winners of free family passes for the first Darton Field Wings and Wheels event at Gisborne Airport today.

The winners were Tracy Evans, Wendy Vincent, Sharon Willson and Zoe Wicks.

The wings and wheels event was due to start at 1pm with aerobatics, formation flights, solo displays and all-out flying featuring the Kittyhawk, Texan, Harvards, Stearmans, a Venom jet, Falco top dresser and Beaver.

As well as the planes there would be military vehicles, vintage and classic cars and motorbikes.
