NO TOUCH: Matapuni Training Centre team member Viliami Mosaati eludes Gisborne Fire Service’s Kelly Wood at the Te Toka mixed touch rugby tournament held on the Tyndall Road section next to Te Tini o Porou. Eight teams took part. Pictures by Paul Rickard
Below, EIT Hawke’s Bay’s Howard Irving grabs the vest of EIT Services Pathway team member Chedyn Beach.

Quick rip: Pasileia Mataele reaches for a tag on Delta Te Rauna at the quick rip tournament held at Barry Park this week and run by Gisborne Girls’ High students. A feature of the event was getting up close and personal with the Women’s Rugby World Cup trophy, which New Zealand’s Black Ferns won in 2017.
