EU free trade info session here Thursday

Gisborne businesses will next week get a rundown of how they stand to benefit from a free trade deal with the European Union.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s trade and economic group principal adviser Mark Trainor will be presenting information on New Zealand’s free trade agreement negotiations with the EU at Gisborne Chamber of Commerce’s Grey Street office on Thursday.

Mr Trainor, who was New Zealand’s lead negotiator for the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, will also cover other trade agreements New Zealand is negotiating.

The information session starts at 5.30pm.

There will also be a chance for people to ask questions, share views and hear what others are thinking.
