Competition keen in all classes for Tahora Horse Sports Club's day — see the pictures
Tahora Horse Sports Club held another successful sports day this month. Competition was keen in all classes, ranging from the adults down to three-year-old Lachie Williams.
The Tahora club was grateful for the help of sponsors and local people who made the day enjoyable. The free barbecue lunch was popular and the bar kept patrons refreshed.
For barman Bill O’Neill, the day was a milestone — he has provided the hospitality at the Tahora horse sports for 21 years.
C Grade child, under seven years: Sam Brooks.
B Grade child, eight to 11 years: Aisha Williams.
A Grade child, 12 to 15 years: Alazay Manuel.
Female competitor most points: Bridget Malcom.
Adult competitor most points: Brian Arnold.
Pablo Memorial Trophy: Bridget Malcom.
Lands and Survey Station Cup: Haupapa Station.
