Enterprise heat up winter champs

ENTERPRISE Cars Swim Team had a hugely successful weekend at the Hawke’s Bay Poverty Bay winter championships in Flaxmere over the weekend.

The Gisborne club won the overall top club trophy and the senior trophy.

Eight of its members won age group titles and Enterprise also won nine of the 15 relays.

Star swimmer Michael Pickett was named HBPB swimmer of the year, a reflection of an outstanding 12 months highlighted by New Zealand age group records.

To cap the weekend, Enterprise also won the much-sought-after and highly popular parents relay.
