Super 8 hockey tournament results

Tauranga won 7-0, relegating Gisborne to a playoff for seventh and eighth against Rotorua Boys’ High first thing this morning.

Gisborne looked set for another heavy loss at 3-0 down to Rotorua at halftime but rallied brilliantly before going down 4-3.

New Plymouth and Hamilton Boys’ High were to decide the overall champions.
