Falcons were a player short but managed to defeat the Pythons 10-5 in Brezz’n Darts Club’s winter league competition on Tuesday.

Falcons’ Harley Ngarangione had two 180s, while teammates Sam Kirikino and Antonio Curtis both had 12 tons and tied for the highest number of tons in the match.

Pythons junior player Shannan Eyles had eight tons, the highest number in her team.

Te Kuzzyz had another 15-0 win — their second of the grading round — in their victory over Ruahine Green.

Te Kuzzyz’ Jono Griffiths had a 180, and most tons for the match, 16.

Ruahine Green’s Melissa Gibbs had nine tons, the highest number for her team.

Rhinos were a player short but held off Ruahine Black 9-6. Junior player Hunter Eyles was Rhinos’ star with 24 tons, a 180 and a high start of 160, while teammate Joe Kiri and brother Irie Eyles both had a 180.

Mihi Awatere of Ruahine Black had a 180. Chris Te Moni had the highest number of tons — 12 — for Ruahine Black and Tangiwai Huerea had a 160 start.

Assassins junior player Ihaka Kaio-Wynyard had 14 tons as his team beat Hummingbirds 14-1.

Bobbi Eyles had six tons, the highest number for Hummingbirds.

Pumas defeated Stallions 10-5, the only 180 and the highest scoring in the match being achieved by Pumas’ Rendall McDonald, who had 17 tons.

Tom Hindmarsh, of Stallions, had nine tons, the highest number for his team.

Tigers and GMC had byes this week.
