Youth to the fore

Youth features in the Poverty Bay-East Coast indoor bowls team that selector Malcolm Trowell has chosen for the Paterson Trophy games in Napier.

With Nathan Trowell, Matthew Foster, Dylan Foster and Akuhata Keelan all under 16, the team will be the youngest from this district to have contested this event.

They will be up against teams from Hawke’s Bay, Tauranga, Waikato and Bay Of Plenty.

The Poverty Bay-East Coast team members are: David Lynn, Jay Casey, Bryan Pulley, Dylan Foster, Malcolm Trowell, Nathan Trowell, Matthew Foster and Akuhata Keelan. Manager: Bruce Easton. Reserves: Bruce Easton and Coralie Campbell-Whitehead.
