Perhaps if the European Students Association at Auckland University had chosen not to promote symbols and slogans associated with the white supremacist movement they would not have attracted the level of criticism they did.
There are plenty of societies and informal groups for people affiliated to or interested in European ancestry and culture that don't use white supremacist symbolism and subsequently are well accepted in communities across the country.

I know the white people throughout their history always have to be angels. That is the price for creating the modern world. Everyone else except the Japanese, and they think they are white, are perfectly entitled to celebrate their war criminals. And do so. In Mongolia, the people just love Genghis Khan. I recall once in a Mongolian college classroom, describing a Maori war party. The students listened with shocked, nauseated expressions. I did feel like saying. "But you all are proud to call yourselves the descendants of Genghis Khan."
