Vote carefully and tactically

LETTER

Re: Single issue voting.

With the general election not far off, voters have a choice: Vote for the party you normally support, decide at the last minute (floating voters), or vote on a single issue.

There could be at least three single issues for Gisborne residents: mental health/drug rehabilitation funding, re-opening the Napier-Gisborne railway and better funding for local roads.

There may be other issues that would cause you to vote that way.

If you feel strongly about any single or more issues, then use your vote carefully!

Remember, you have two votes, so you can vote tactically as well!
