Sideline aggro out of line

LETTER

It was fantastic to see the huge crowds of people out supporting their teams in rugby over the weekend. The Oval was pumping with excitement and the adrenalin was high. Apart from all this, what annoyed me was hearing sideline comments from “role models” of the community that were very inappropriate.

Who tells their team repeatedly to smash their opposition’s heads in? Really?

People get frustrated in any code of sport, but that doesn’t give them the excuse to rattle off inapropriate words around the younger generation.

C’mon, keep it professional.
