Thank you

LETTER

Thank you all those who took time in your weekend to clean Kaiti Beach.

I was impressed with the dedication and detail of how you all went about your good work. You turned over logs, seaweed and branches to get every bit of unnatural debris off the beach.

You had buckets and bags and all full of rubbish.

I saw a lot of young ones also. This is a great initiative, you are the future of our lovely paradise.

So I write to acknowledge your dedication to a better environment for us all in the Tairawhiti.

Should consultation on Gisborne city wastewater treatment and disposal include a “do nothing” option as suggested by the Mayor on Thursday, as well as the five options priced at estimated capital costs of $23.5 million to $42.1m which were approved by councillors?
