Cannabis sting important

LETTER

Good on the police for their removal of cannabis.

Whilst some people complain about that, they should be aware that when people buy cannabis for whatever reason, it can be laced with meth which hooks the cannabis user into meth use.

Face the facts and look into the deeper picture for once.

It is not always clean cut!

If it's 'laced with meth', who does the lacing? Presumably it's the criminal gangs who market the stuff. If cannabis were re-legalised, the gangs would go out of business. Now who would not want that?

Footnote from Ed: Actually, most things being equal, they would move to other illicit trade to fund their operations and themselves.

No cannabis sold through a licensed dispensary would ever be laced with meth. The current laws enable exactly what you are talking about to continue, face that fact.
