Abilities are what counts

LETTER

What a gift we were given when Rehette and Dion Stoltz chose Gisborne as their home, and immediately threw themselves into making it their haven and bringing with them a new perspective.

Leaving friends and family elsewhere is not an easy thing, as many of us know, but they have embraced this paradise we call Gisborne Tarawhiti. Rehette has done a wonderful job whilst on the council — enthusiastic, energetic, articulate, and everywhere!

Best wishes for this election Rehette. It’s not where you come from that counts, but the abilities you bring with you.

I agree 200 percent with Chris Somerton's support for Rehette Stoltz. At last our people may have a mayor who will represent the voters and not the misguided views we have endured for 18 years!

Do you agree with the call from Regional Economic Development Minister Shane Jones for Gisborne to be developed as a wood-processing hub?
