Great strides for stroke

LETTER

Thanks to the wonderful support of the Gisborne/Tairawhiti community, all 350 of you, “Stride for Stroke” 2019 was another very successful event.

It was wonderful to see our stroke survivors and their families participate alongside the community to promote stroke awareness. This event helps highlight how we can all come together and support those whose lives have been affected by stroke.

I would like to thank all the wonderful volunteers on the day as without them this event would not have been possible.

My goal is to grow this event each year, so let’s make 2020 Stride for Stroke bigger and better. People helping people helping people!
