Meetings play very well done

LETTER

We were fortunate to attend last night the Combined Primary Schools production of Captain Cook’s arrival in Tairawhiti 250 years ago. It was promoted by the Aurora Education Foundation’s Drama Extension Group.

The theme was “The meeting of two cultures”. It was very well done and depicted the true meaning of the anniversay commemorations. It portrayed both sides of the story in an uncomplicated way.
