Hospital treatment tops

LETTER

Recently, after a foolish car accident, I spent nine days and nights in Gisborne Hospital Ward 8. I cannot commend the staff and treatment I received enough. Totally professional, medically on to it, polite and respectful, even despite working in a very aged building.

The food was good, nutritionally balanced, fresh, tasty etc. Only two main meals were below average but still edible. The soups and desserts were delicious, and I thought, “How many kiwis are fortunate enough to have two and three-course meals?”

Thank you all.
