Tairawhiti Arts Festival spectacular

LETTER

The Te Tairawhiti Arts festival ended on a high note last night with the beautiful Taonga Moana performed by Voices New Zealand in the Holy Trinity Church.
Gisborne has been treated to three weeks of world-class performances — singing, dancing, drama and visual art! We were spoiled for choice and there was something for every taste. My personal favourite of the festival was Witi’s Wahine.
Hats off to the talented Tama Waipara and his team for putting together a spectacular festival. Thank you also to Trust Tairawhiti for funding this great event. We are already looking forward to Te Tairawhiti Arts Festival 2020!
