Game is up for deniers

LETTER

Sandra Faulkner is attempting to bamboozle us with bollocks over methane targets for the agricultural sector. Her rearguard action to argue that black is white is an attempt to skew the debate around to her position, that effectively doing nothing or very little is the right way forward.

Could someone inform her that actually the Government has reached an accord on the way forward. If farmers like her aren’t making sufficient progress by 2022, then the Government can bring out the big stick.
The game is up for climate change deniers. No more obfuscation or prevarication — best just get on with the task.

It will be interesting to see Mr Holm's reaction when the local farmers have to meet emission targets by reducing live stock numbers and their bottom line suffers so that they have less to spend in his business.

Mr Holm, you use the word denier as if it is something bad - when the deniers are actually the sane and sensible people. It is much more honest to be a denier than it is to be a liar!

I wonder if Bruce sells cigarettes in his shop?

Are you worried that too much farmland will be converted to forestry due to the Government's climate change policies?
