Tis the season to think of those less fortunate

LETTER

It’s coming up to Christmas. We have been blessed with the things we need. I’d like to set a challenge: For us all to do a good deed.
Donate a “toy” to Salvation Army, “pet foods” to SPCA, groceries for Foodbank and Women’s Refuge too . . . or brekkie goods to Ka Pai Kaiti, providing breakfast this Christmas Day.
There are many things that we can do at this special time of year to reach out to others and just show them that we care. Don’t think it won’t make a difference.
Whether your act is big or small, it will bring such joy to “Someone”.
There’s a Santa in us all.
