Targeted by driver

LETTER

I have a challenge for the arrogant driver who attempted to run down an athlete during the 10km road race along Valley Road at 10.10am on Sunday.

As I was on the left facing the traffic with one foot on the grass berm and the other on the seal, there was no reason to veer left and drive at me.
With there having been a witness to this incident, I challenge the driver to meet me at the police station to discuss it further. Assault with a deadly weapon is a serious offence and a lawyer may need to be engaged.
