Children make Lego creations during school holiday programme at the Library

Bricks replaced books as the HB Williams Memorial Library’s popular school holiday programme continued yesterday.

Grab Life By The Bricks was the name of a session run by Lego Masters NZ contestant Jono Samson and Nic Peeperkoorn.

With such expertise to guide them, the kids tried their hand at creating a variety of things ranging from unicorns to spaceships to island scenes.

It proved so popular that several of the young Lego lovers did not want to leave.

The library holiday programme continued today with a Little Sprouts read and sing-along session and ends tomorrow with a Beamafilm movie and Tonui STEAM workshop.
