Fun on the field

Gisborne Boys’ High School  students took to the Rectory Field on Friday to take part in the annual madness that is tabloid sports.
With an emphasis on fun and participation, the “sports” included a tug o’war between houses, jump rope, carrying cups of water while running, navigating an obstacle course while blindfolded, teams of three working out how to carry one of them to the finish line, throwing things (Howler Vortex, rugby ball and lacrosse ball) and catching things (rugby ball and lacrosse ball).
The day was originally scheduled to be on February 9 but was postponed due to the weather.
