Vinzent MacGregor won the feature race and drove the fastest lap at Eastland Kart Club’s second-to-last points meeting.
The rain early on the Sunday meant the track did not need any more water. This made for a fast track.
MacGregor’s fastest lap time was 18.820 seconds. Second-fastest was Seth Hall (19.063s) and third-fastest, Luca Vita (19.394s).
The feature race at the end of the meeting was held over 12 laps. MacGregor won from Mike Vita and Luca Vita.
The open and Rotax classes raced together. MacGregor showed some real pace and came away with three wins and a third.
Kelvin Bull picked up the other win.
Luca Vita had four second placings, while thirds went to Sean Gooch (two) and Robert De La Haye.
In the juniors class, Noah Starr — who has been driving very well — had two wins, a second and a third.
Pyper Irvine had one win and three second placings, while Nixen Gooch picked up a win and three thirds.
These young drivers are improving all the time.
In the young guns class, Hamish Worsnop had two wins, and Brodie Gooch and Tim De La Haye had one win each.
Brodie Gooch had two second placings, while Logan Irvine and Tim De La Haye had one second placing each.
Logan Irvine had three third placings and Brodie Gooch, one.
In the KT heavies, Dion Lund had two wins and two second placings.
Ben Adcock had a win, two seconds and a third, Fred Winterton had a win and two thirds, and Buck Rogers had a third.
In the KT lights, Seth Hall and Luca Vita each had two wins and two seconds.
Mike Vita had four third placings.
Robyn De La Haye came away with three wins and a third in the women’s class. Hayley De La Haye picked up the other win.
Sharyn Rogers had three seconds and a third, while Tessa Irvine had a second and two thirds.
The last meeting of the season is scheduled for this Sunday.
