Let us keep camping

Waka Kotahi — if you take away our right to “Summer Camping” you would be taking away our rights as ratepayers to enjoy our end-of-year camping break. This is what we love doing and have done for the past 40 years.

We have already had to contact  our out-of-town family friends to warn them that they might not be able to visit and join us this summer.

If you go ahead and stop us from camping, you would be denying something that we and many others hold dear.

We are, and always have been, responsible and sensible campers and always follow the rules.

Please give us a fair go to have the right to enjoy our break at the end of our working year.

R & P Birrell
