Most objective readers of the Gisborne Herald will agree that our newspaper has deserved its hard earned reputation as one of the nation’s best presented bar none.
There is a simple reason for that.
It has settled on a formula that covers a good mix of local, national and international news which is appreciated by those readers who have responded by continuing to support the publication at a time when other media outlets are competing for the discretionary public dollar.
It would appear to be a very cut throat business which is evidenced by the number of other much larger media outlets with deeper pockets who have ceased operation in recent times.
