Daryl Gowers is the quarter-million-dollar man.
The fundraiser extraordinaire has raised $225,000 for the Gisborne East Coast Cancer Society over the past five years.
He says so without fanfare or excitement before adding, “we’ll break the quarter million-dollar mark later this year.”
Daryl leads the fundraising for this year’s Relay for Life (March 25 and 26) with $21,853.
