Strong demand and great prices kept the vendors happy at Tuesday’s cattle sale at the Matawhero Stockyards.
The sale started with mixed-age cows selling from $750 to $1440 for those in very good condition.
Rising 2- and 3-year-old steers made for a good sales day with the heaviest animals selling from $2000 to $2840.
