The Matawhero sheep sale yesterday was a relatively small one but the prime lambs sold from $110 up to $190.
“That was a top price not seen for a while,” said PGG Wrightson’s Cody Clark.
“Prime ewes made up to $90 and rams sold from $85 to $100.”
Clark said the store lambs on offer yesterday varied, and sold from $50 up to $138.
