Strong demand for good lambs continues

The weekly Matawhero sheep sale drew a total yarding of just over 2000 head yesterday and it was still a strong market for the store sheep. 

Most of the yarding were store lambs. 

“The best of the males made up to $150 and the best of the ewe lambs made around $140,” a sale spokesman said.
